Registration Liaison
Prepare registration materials and oversee registration on-site. Position includes extensive pre-RC work. Registration Liaison must arrive by Tuesday, July 29th, at noon for on-site orientation.
Pre-RC Duties
Create full list of MVP Pass registered attendees.
Verify that all attendees eligible to receive a discount have correctly entered their information.
Ensure that all registration supplies (including insurance wristbands) will be on-site for RollerCon 08.
Create documents to track registration issues, on-site badges sold and insurance verifications.
Create Registration Table procedures for on-site shift volunteers.
Coordinate with the Volunteer Liaison to ensure adequate staffing of the registration table.
On-site Duties
Oversee on-site registration shift volunteers, including training and tracking.
Verify that on-site badge sales are accurate each day of RollerCon 08.
Ensure that the Registration Table is set up correctly each morning and taken down and stored correctly each evening.
Be available to solve registration issues during registration hours.
Act as the primary Registration contact person during RollerCon 08.
Troubleshoot issues that arise during RollerCon 08.
Post-RC Duties
Prepare a post-RollerCon report that includes off-site and on-site badge sales, and make recommendations to improve next year’s Registration Management.
Desired Skills
Familiarity with spreadsheets, particularly through Google docs.
Organized, responsible, dependable, and responsive.
Familiarity with the various rollergirl forums and websites.
