    Some time ago I heard a rumor that the advanced speed skaters and art
    skaters were planning to go toe to toe at RollerCon. That would be
    SO SUPER AWESOME. So I reserved the Friday night Fremont Street
    Finale spot for that challenge and started poking great art skaters
    and speed skaters to get on it. Because you KNOW I'm insisting that
    you people wear the arty frillsy competition 'fits and the zip up
    speed skating onesies!

    Anyway, word has it that the Art Nationals are the week before RC,
    and the Speed Skating nationals are actually the same week RC starts.
    BOO.

    And our Challenge Manager hasn't gotten any rosters from an art OR a
    speed team. We're willing to hold your slot if we know for sure:

    A. you're wearing your respective appropriate outfits and not just a
    t-shirt that says "art" or something. That's mandatory.
    B. you are planning to get teams together and at least have captains
    C. We're talking advanced skaters, not art / speed newbies

    Please email challenges@rollerco n.com immediately to hold your slot.

    BTW, captains of all challenges - if you want to get your team in the
    program, the deadline is 6/27 (this Friday) to register. You can
    still register a team after that date, and there are plenty of slots
    available... but our program content must be to the designers by
    Friday, so if we don't know you by then, you're not making it into
    the annals of recorded RC history via the program. ANNALS.

    Yes, Diesel did start this (I think). She asked me quite some time ago if I wanted in. I would still like to participate if we are doing this.
