  1. HITTING 202 ADVANCED HITS AND BLOCKS

    1. Double Tap/ Pump Pump
    2. Hip check shoulder throw
    3. Chainsaw/ lawnmower
    4. Shoulder hit and sit
    5. Step over and Guide out
    6. Sit and hit
    7. Hip throw
    8. Lean and hit
    9. Lean and push

    1. Double tap
The basics of the double hit are a properly executed shoulder hit to throw your opponent off balance and then follow up with a second hit to knock them over. Instead of hitting and following through like a normal shoulder hit you stay with your opponent so you can line up the hit immediately. Your stance should immediately change so you can line this up.

    2. Hip check shoulder throw
Execute a proper hip check and maintain your stance but follow through by pushing on your outside leg and driving your shoulder up and into your opponent.

    3. Chainsaw/ Lawnmower
Start this in a squatting position. From here you are trying to line up the hit to catch your opponent in the stomach with your shoulder by coming up and under your opponent. The reason you are aiming for the stomach is so that you do not hit the opponent with your helmet in the face.

    4. Shoulder hit and Sit
Begin with a normal shoulder hit but follow through by sitting on your opponent’s leg and booty blocking them so you can take over their position. Think like a magician. The shoulder hit isn't meant to kill them merely distract them so you can sit on them.

    5. Step over and guide out.
Position yourself to lean on your opponent with the leg closest to your opponent being used here. Lift that leg up and over and in front of your opponent and trap them by sitting on them and guiding them out of bounds or out of position.

    6. Sit and hit
Position yourself in front of your opponent so that you are booty blocking them and looking backwards. With your body still low and wide, wait for the right moment to swing at your hips and drive your shoulder into the stomach of your opponent knocking them down.

    7. Hip throw
Position yourself so that you come up and across your opponent’s chest with your back against their chest. From here you want to drive your hip into your opponent knocking them off balance.

    8. Lean and hit
While leaning on your opponent, bait them into leaning back into you. Once you feel them lean, lean or squat in the opposite direction to hopefully take them with you and then execute a quick shoulder hit while they are off balance.

    9. Lean and push
While leaning on your opponent, reposition your skates so that they are pointed to either the inside or the outside of the track, whichever is closer, crouch down into a squatting stance and physically use every ounce of effort to push your opponent to the inside or outside of the track.
