Everyone knows that Las Vegas isn’t the place to catch up on sleep, so don’t come to RollerCon ‘07 thinking it’ll be a relaxing break from activity…

During the daytime hours, if you can drag your tired butt out of your hotel room, there are workshops galore, covering everything from on-skates skills training to sponsorship and business roundtable discussions to how to throw an amazing bout. Not to be left out, there are even workshops for derby cheerleaders, referees and bout production volunteers!

If you’ve been itching to skate against (or with) that rival team from down the road, you can register a team to skate at the Challenge Bouts. And if you just want to scrimmage, and don’t care who you skate against, bring a black shirt and a white shirt and catch the RollerCon Shuttle Bus for the evening Flamingo Banks Challenges and Desert Breeze Pickup Scrimmages.

And what’s a rollergirl get-together without some straight-up partying? This year’s social events include the Welcome Banquet, the always fabulous Black N Blue Ball, and bands and activities every night at the Double Down Saloon.

In addition to all that, there’s a tattoo contest, burlesque show, derby wedding, merch swap, skate park tour… The list goes on and on.

We promise: you won’t be bored at RollerCon ‘08. And remember, you can sleep when you’re dead.
