RollerCon ‘07 isn’t just about workshops and skating; it’s also about meeting new friends, connecting with old friends and having a kick-ass time.To kick off the party, there’s the Loretta “Li’l Iodine” Behrens Welcome Banquet on Wednesday evening. Then on Friday night, get dolled up in your most fabulous black and blue attire for the annual Black N Blue Ball. Dancing! Drinking! False eyelashes! What more could a rollergirl want?

As if that’s not enough, we’ve got bands every night at the Double Down Saloon! Plus, the RollerCon Shuttle Bus — a 100-passenger, London-style, double-decker bus — will be making loops between the Imperial Palace and the Double Down every night.

But if you do drink, remember to accompany it with lots of water and eat some salty food. This is the desert, after all, and it gets mighty hot in August. And dehydration plus skating equals no fun.
