Compensation for Coaches:
First-year coaches must have a pass, and are compensated on the same
rolling schedule as all other volunteer shifts, except that on-skates coaching hours are counted double. Returning Coaches can earn additional compensation, depending on the coach, the popularity and feedback from the class, and how many hours they coach. General volunteer compensation

1. More off-skates, especially
- cross-training & plyometrics
- strength & training for injury prevention
- stretching & yoga
- track smarts & whiteboard seminars about training, like
— maximizing points, calling off jams
— positional strategy & pack placement, where to be when
— rules for players; how to understand & use them
2. More on skates, especially
- getting from beginner to intermediate / advanced in every position
- more duplication of classes
- more classes for beginners
- more non-contact & specifically targeted classes
- more classes in general
- endurance, aerobic & conditioning skates
- stride, speed & better form
- classes geared toward International skaters (esp. by multi-lingual coaches)
