REF SKATING SKILL LEVEL DEFINITION
On a scale of 1-5 what is your skating ability level? This is not WFTDA competitor skating ability; this scale is to determine reffing skate skills.

  1. You can’t skate safely
  2. You can skate, but still fall a lot. You would mostly be scheduled for black/white scrimmages, not Challenge Bouts.
  3. You can skate well on normal surfaces, but skating on Fremont Street* could be challenging or impossible.
  4. Can pack ref on Fremont Street, but not Jam Ref
  5. Lots of skating experience, can ref on any surface, no problem.
