Super Early Bird convention passes will be available Black Friday, November 25, 2012.

2012 passes will be fairly similar to 2011. Convention attendees will have a choice of MVP or Spectator Passes. When the training camp has reached its cap, MVP passes will be sold out and we’ll put Skater Passes on sale. The cap will be determined by the coaching staff’s availability and schedule. And then, of course, 2011 Staff get a special super cheap Volunteer MVP pass that never sells out.

RollerCon takes place in the Riviera Resort & Casino. Most events are in two enclosed ballrooms or in the conference rooms that surround the ballrooms. All the official skating events are in one of the two ballrooms. There are no official RollerCon skating events outside the ballrooms or open to non-passholders. You cannot get into the ballrooms without a RollerCon pass and valid matching ID. Some social events are open to the general public and happen outside the ballrooms (such as the Black & Blue Ball, at the Riviera Pool).

If we have the staff for it, we may open a couple of our bouts up to non-passholding viewers, but its not a high priority. Serving our passholders with the most and most awesome events is our first priority. So if we can manage both, we’ll post info about it. But don’t hold your breath.

MVP Pass. That’s the “all access” pass. With the appropriate insurance validation and skill minimums, you get entry into all on and off-skates events, plus access to the training camp, open skate rink, bouts, Challenges, open scrimmages and social events. There are 2000 of these passes available. The Super Early Bird Price is $109 available all day PST on Nov 25th. The price will go up 11/26 and then monthly until they’re gone.

Spectator Pass. If you don’t skate, this is the pass for you. This gets you view access to most on-skates events (excluding training) like bouts, scrimmages, Challenges, and it gets you entry to all the off-skates seminars and social events. These passes are unlikely to sell out. The Super Early Bird price is $89 all day PST on Nov 25th. This price will go up 11/26 and then quarterly.

Skater Pass. This pass is available after the MVP passes sell out. This pass, with insurance validation and skill minimums, allows you to participate in on or off skates in scrimmages, Challenges and bouts, and gets you entry to the off-skates seminars and social events. It DOES NOT include the on skates training camp.

Volunteer Pass. This is an MVP pass only available to volunteers from the year before, and it costs less than the very cheapest Early Bird MVP or any other ticket that the regular non-volunteers can buy. This pass doesn’t sell out. You can earn one for next year by volunteering for our RollerCon Army!
